Matt grew up in Newton, KS, and was saved at a young age. He attended a Bible Church in Burrton, KS, while growing up. While in High School, he joined the Army National Guard and served for seven years. During two overseas deployments, God worked in his heart, calling him into full-time ministry. He and his wife Sara were married in 2004, and they have two boys and a girl.

 

Matt came on staff at Hope Bible Church in 2007. He has served as the Youth Pastor and Assistant Pastor. Matt now serves as the Senior Pastor. He graduated from Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, MO.

 

Matt enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and reading.
